Manu Wiecha is an award-winning producer specializing in factual and natural history programming. She began her career as an offline editor before becoming a showrunner and eventually Head of Factual Productions at Pixcom Productions Inc. In that role, she led creative teams from development through to final master delivery for specialty networks including Discovery, National Geographic, Smithsonian, Love Nature, Sky Television, and History, as well as public broadcasters such as CBC, PBS, Arte, and ZDF.

She is currently the showrunner of Last of the Giants with adventurer Cyril Chauquet, a factual series that follows its host on global conservation missions to protect large predatory fish. Her previous credits include Wild World with biologist Patrick Aryee, which explores the complex web of interactions in the natural world; Rogue Earth, featuring harrowing true accounts of communities caught in extreme weather events linked to climate change; and Brazil Untamed, a ten-part series about life in the world’s largest tropical wetland.
